News Synopsis

Walmart gives Indian exporters greater opportunities in the USA and Canada. They help them leverage their marketplace and increase the number of international products available on the platform.

This year was the first time that the US retail giant allowed Indian sellers onto its marketplace. It gave American consumers the opportunity to buy items from South Asia.

A recent Walmart Global Seller Summit was held in Delhi. Visitors were informed that Walmart now welcomes Indian exporters to apply for the Walmart Canada Marketplace.

Walmart Fulfillment Services and Walmart Connect are two of the tools that will be made it easier for sellers.

Bharat Seth, CEO of Rage Coffee in India said that "Being a digitally native brand, we take an omnichannel approach to cater to consumers across online and offline formats,"

"Our partnership with the Walmart US Marketplace has helped us reach more consumers in that market and become part of their daily coffee routine. We are excited about possibilities to grow further and build a globally known brand."

Walmart has a dedicated team in India that can help direct-to-consumer brands from India to quickly onboard and take advantage of the marketplace tools and services to maximize their success with US customers. Walmart is using this strategy to establish long-lasting relationships with overseas sellers.
