Volkswagen Virtus launched in India
News Synopsis
Volkswagen, the German Automaker, has launched its new mid-size sedan Volkswagen Virtus in the Indian market. This car was being awaited in India for a long time. The Volkswagen Virtus has started arriving at dealerships where customers can view it and enjoy its test drive test drive. This will give an opportunity to the customers to understand this car closely.
This is the second model of the brand under the company's India 2.0 Project. The new sedan is based on the Volkswagen Group's MQB AO IN platform which is also used in the VW Taigun, Skoda Kushak and Slavia.
This Sedan was officially debuted in India in March 2022. Customers wishing to purchase the Volkswagen Virtus sedan can book it online or at an authorized Volkswagen Dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000. If we talk about the price, then this sedan has been launched at an initial price of Rs 11.22 lakh.
The Virtus replaces the Volkswagen Vento in the Indian market. What the company says is an ambitious model that not only promises to challenge the existing sedans in the country like Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Hyundai Verna but will also likely take on the growing preference for mid-size SUVs.
