Vivo X80 5G Smartphone Series Launched in India

News Synopsis

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo launched the Vivo X80 Pro 5G and Vivo X80 5G premium smartphones in India. The smartphones are almost identical in terms of design and features, but are powered by different system chips and have different camera sensors.

This high-end smartphone from the Vivo X80 series of 5G smartphones is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with the Vivo V1+ imaging chip. The phone operates with a FunTouch interface based on the Android 12 operating system.

The smartphone features a 6.78-inch WQHD+ resolution 3D curved AMOLED screen made of E5 material. It has four camera sensors on the back and one front camera. The rear camera setup features a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 48MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 12 MP telephoto sensor for portrait, and an 8 MP periscope telephoto sensor with optical image stabilization. 

This vanilla edition smartphone belongs to the Vivo X80 series of 5G smartphones powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC paired with the Vivo V1+ imaging chip. The phone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery backed by an 80W fast wired charger included in the package. Other features include dual stereo speakers and Xaxis linear vibration motors for a sense of vibration.
