USA and Turkey Agreed on Withdrawal of Turkey's Digital Services Tax

News Synopsis

The USA and Turkey have agreed on the withdrawal of Turkey's digital service tax. After this withdrawal, no tax will be implemented on the digital service. A total of 136 countries had already agreed to abolish the Digital Services Tax. The countries have also agreed on a 15% global minimum corporate tax. However, in the context of India, the digital tax service has not been removed in view of companies like Facebook, Google, Amazon. The number of people taking the facility of these digital services in India is very high.
