UPI, Rupay Cards to Enter European Region

In the last few years, there has been a rapid increase in Digital Transactions in India. At present, now digital payment is at a record level. Most people are preferring to pay from Mobile Wallets only. At the same time, the big news has come out for the people traveling to France

Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and RuPay cards will soon be accepted in France. Indian Ambassador to France Jawed Ashraf informed that India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and RuPay cards will soon be accepted in France. National Payments Corporation of India International (NPCI International), the international branch of National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has entered into an agreement with French payments company Lyra Network and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed. 

As per the MoU, the Lyra network will allow Indians to make payments using UPI and Rupay cards on their machines, which will make payments easier, especially for students and tourists from India.
