Ubisoft to launch first ever playable NFTs

Video game developer, Ubisoft has announced the first-ever in-game NFTs. The users can collect NFTs through these games. It will first launch the PC version of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. The digits will be released in a limited edition that will be tied to the player names of previous and current owners. 

Ubisoft has said in its statement that it wants the NFTs for its players. The players need to cross a certain level in the video game to get access to NFTs. Baptiste Chardon, Blockchain Business and Product Director of Ubisoft has said that they are focusing on the most engaged players with its first batch and claim to be more environment-friendly alternatives for NFTs.
