Latest Update -

Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of Twitter, revealed on Friday that the social media platform would use distinctively colored badges to distinguish between accounts.

He wrote, "Sorry for the delay, we're tentatively launching Verified on Friday next week,"

"Gold check for companies, grey check for government, blue for individuals (celebrity or not), and all verified accounts will be manually authenticated before check activates."

All verified individual accounts will have the same blue check, according to Musk's next tweet, but some will eventually be able to display a "secondary tiny logo showing they belong to an org(anization) if verified as such by that org(anization)".

Since he acquired the social media giant last month, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO's suggestion that users pay to be "verified" and receive a blue badge on their profiles has expressed doubts.

Musk proposed a $8 monthly subscription charge to allow consumers to access the blue check, which was previously free but only available to organizations and prominent individuals in an effort to prevent impersonation and false information.

Early in November, Musk launched his subscription service for the first time, but it failed miserably since many users paid with a blue check before pretending to be famous celebrities, organizations, or world leaders.

The world's richest man and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has seen many changes after taking over the command of Twitter. The biggest change is the inclusion of payment for 'blue tick' subscriptions. The new owner of the microblogging platform Twitter, Elon Musk, has announced the price for 'Blue Tick' on Twitter. Elon Musk has announced that the cost of 'Blue Tick' on Twitter will be eight dollars, or about Rs 660 per month. Elon Musk announced a new version of "Twitter Blue" on Tuesday, in which he plans to charge Twitter's subscription service $8 per month, with a priority on replying to, mentioning, and searching Twitter posts.

It is worth noting that as soon as Elon Musk pointed out the paid blue tick, a fierce protest started on social media. Recently, writer Stephen King even used abusive language about paid blue ticks, after which Elon Musk, while replying to the author's tweet, wrote what do you think about eight dollars? Actually, a user tweeted Elon Musk and asked that he has a huge number of followers, even though he is not able to get the blue tick. In reply to this tweet, Elon Musk pointed out the paid blue tick.

After which it was being said on Twitter to charge $ 19.99 i.e. about 1,600 rupees for the blue tick, which people were fiercely opposing. At the same time, writer Stephen King opposed this and wrote in his tweet, Rs 1600 for blue tick? This is bullshit but they should pay me. If that happens I will leave the platform. Responding to the author's tweet, Musk said that for a blue tick on Twitter, it will cost eight dollars, not 1,600 rupees. Musk tweeted that we have to pay the bills somehow! Twitter cannot rely solely on advertisers. What about eight dollars?
