News Synopsis

Twitter is testing a new feature called "Twitter Circle". This feature allows users to select a small group of 150 people to share their tweets. The new feature looks similar to Instagram's close friends feature and allows users to select viewers for their stories.

Twitter said that some tweets are for everyone and others can just be for people users picked. The company tweeted, “We are now testing Twitter Circle, which lets you add up to 150 people who can see your Tweets when you want to share with a smaller crowd. Some of you can create your own Twitter Circle starting today.”

As the microblogging social media platform says, new features will come out for "some of you" for now. It also said that the users can edit the list of the people that they have selected in Twitter Circle anytime they need or want.

First, users should select up to 150 people, whether they are following or not. Then, when tweeting, select the Twitter Circle option to limit tweets to only those you have selected.

This new feature will be available a few days after Tesla CEO Elon Musk bought Twitter. However, Musk's $44 billion deal to buy Twitter is still months away from closing.
