TVS Raider India's First Bike To Be Launched With TFT Screen

TVS Motor Company has launched the updated 2022 TVS Raider 125 in India. The ex-showroom price of the 2022 TVS Raider 125 in the Indian market has been fixed at Rs 99,990. The motorcycle now gets TVS's 'SmartXonnect' technology. And has become the first commuter motorcycle in India to get a TFT screen. This is a feature that is usually only available on premium motorcycles. Now, this feature is available in TVS Rider 125. Rider 125 was launched in the metaverse. This might be the first model to be launched in this way.

TVS Raider 125 is now equipped with a 5-inch TFT console that connects the biker to the motorcycle through an exclusive mobile app. The new Bluetooth-enabled system offers a range of riding analytics to help riders learn more about their riding style. Apart from this, the motorcycle also comes with features like voice and navigation assist, an incoming call feature, an image transfer option, and a ride report. The motorcycle also gets a side-stand cut-off switch as a safety feature.

The new 2022 Raider 125 motorcycle gets a 124.8cc single-cylinder engine. This engine generates 11.2 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. A 5-speed gearbox is available with this engine. The motorcycle gets two riding modes - Eco and Power. According to the company, the top-end with Power Mode gives 10 percent more power. The motorcycle can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 5.9 seconds, which is best-in-class. The top speed of the bike is 99 kmph.
