Top Auto Manufacturers To Cut The Production of Petrol-Diesel Vehicles From 2040

News Synopsis

The increase in pollution and temperature has led the environment towards 'Global Warning', considering this top auto manufacturers have decided to cut the production of diesel and petrol vehicles by 2040. The decision was taken by these companies at the COP26 summit in Glasgow. It includes cutting down the production and sales of petrol and diesel vehicles by the year 2040. 

Along with Ford, Mercedes-Benz, General Motors, and Volvo other 6 top manufacturers have agreed with it, whereas Toyota, Volkswagen, and Nissan-Reno have refused to accept the decision. The government of 31 countries has also given their agreement to stop the sale of these vehicles.
