News Synopsis

WhatsApp, the most popular social-networking site, has added numerous new features for its users. The capability to erase unwanted or mistakenly transmitted messages is one such function. Currently, users have 68 minutes to erase these messages. This time limit has now been extended to more than two days by the instant messaging service owned by Meta.

Rethinking your message? The business asks in a statement on Twitter announcing the new time limit. After you push submit, you will now have little over 2 days to remove your chat messages. Users of WhatsApp will actually have two days and twelve hours to remove their communications. Users have the option of deleting a communication only for themselves or for all recipients. One can erase specific messages they have sent to an individual or group chat by selecting the "Delete messages for everyone" option. Messages that you delete for yourself remain on the user's device exclusively. It has no bearing on the interactions with your recipients. The messages will continue to appear in your receivers' chat screens.

A few iPhone beta users have begun receiving the status reaction feature from WhatsApp. By utilising one of eight different emojis—Smiling Face with Heart-Eyes, Face with Tears of Joy, Face with Open Mouth, Crying Face, Folded Hands, Clapping Hands, Party Popper, and Hundred Points—users are able to respond to WhatsApp status updates.
