THDC India to install 10,000-MW solar projects in Rajasthan

News Synopsis

THDC India Ltd has signed a Letter of Intent to build 10,000 MW capacity solar power projects and to invest Rs. 10000 crore in Rajasthan.  After signing the LOI, the state-owned company in its official statement said: “THDC India Limited (THDCIL) signed the letter of intent (LoI) of 10,000 MW in Rajasthan with an estimated investment of Rs 40,000 crore for the establishment of renewable energy parks/ projects of 10,000 MW in the august presence of the chief minister, Rajasthan, and the Minister for Industry, Revenue and Energy, Government of Rajasthan”. LOI was accepted by the Rajasthan Additional Chief Secretary Subodh Agarwal after it was signed by, J Behera, Director (Finance) of THDC India Ltd. They also aim to install a renewable energy generating facility of 500 MW capacity by 2030.
