Tesla working on an App Store for its Cars

The electric vehicle company of Elon Musk, Tesla is developing an App Store for its cars. It would feature on the touchscreen control panel of the cars. Rumours about Tesla’s app store started after it released an update that allowed for a customisable icon bar at the foot of the touchscreen. 

The report also said that the investor Sawyer Merritt tweeted a video of Steve Jobs revealing the Apple App Store with the caption saying, “It is coming soon.” It is still not confirmed by the company or Sawyer Merritt, but another tweet by the CEO, Elon Musk that says, “Tesla is as much a software as it is a hardware” hints towards an app store of the company. The report also claimed that the Tesla App Store will launch before deliveries of its Cyber Truck.
