News Synopsis

The electric car maker, Tesla has filed for a trademark earlier this month. According to a report of Electrek, the company is planning to bring out its own series of audio products in future and the trademark is for the selling of these items only.

The trademark application lists products like microphones, headphones, earphones, digital audio players, sound transmitting apparatus, audio speakers, subwoofers, earpads for headphones, audio interfaces, audio equalizer apparatus, horns for loudspeakers and megaphones.

It is yet not clear if the items included in the trademark are for a separate unit or will be used for the sound system in Tesla vehicles only. Tesla has recently released a new feature called Boombox mode. The feature is already tested by CEO Elon Musk in August 2021. He also tweeted about the new feature saying that it will allow the vehicles to play snake jazz or Polynesian elevator music through the outside speakers.
