News Synopsis

Tata Motors is all set to launch the facelifted Tata Punch in India on January 13, 2026. The updated version of Tata’s popular sub-4-metre SUV will come with refreshed styling, new features, additional colour options, and a more powerful turbo-petrol engine.

Tata Punch Facelift Launch Details

Tata Motors will officially introduce the Punch Facelift in India on January 13, 2026. Ahead of its launch, the company has already revealed key details related to the SUV’s design, variants, and colour options. In the Indian market, the new Punch will compete mainly with the Hyundai Exter and other compact SUVs.

Tata Punch Facelift: Exterior Design

The Tata Punch Facelift retains its familiar silhouette but gets a sharper and more modern front fascia. The headlights have been redesigned with new lighting elements, while the Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) now feature Tata’s latest signature design seen on models like the Nexon, Harrier and Safari.

Additional highlights include:

  • Piano black accents

  • Redesigned lower grille

  • New skid plates

These upgrades give the Punch a more sporty yet premium appearance.

Rear Design and Cabin Updates

At the rear, the facelifted Punch gets newly designed tail-lamps and updated detailing. While the overall outline remains similar to the current model, the reshaped rear bumper adds a more rugged and muscular look, improving the SUV’s road presence.

Inside the cabin, Tata has made several improvements:

  • A new twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo

  • Toggle-style switches replacing traditional buttons

  • Redesigned AC vents

  • A 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster

These changes give the interior a more modern and premium feel.

Tata Punch Facelift: Features

The updated Punch will offer several new features, including:

  • 360-degree camera system

  • Six airbags for enhanced safety

  • Updated infotainment system

These upgrades make the Punch more competitive in the compact SUV segment.

New Colour Options

Tata Motors has introduced new colour choices to boost the Punch’s appeal. Buyers will be able to choose from:

  • Sianntafic Blue

  • Caramel Yellow

  • Bengal Rouge Red

  • Daytona Grey

  • Coorg Clouds Silver

  • Pristine White

The recently spotted Coorg Clouds Silver shade highlights the refreshed look of the SUV.

Tata Punch Facelift: Engine Options

The Punch Facelift will come with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, already used in other Tata models. This will be offered alongside the existing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, giving buyers more performance options.

While detailed specifications are yet to be announced, the turbo engine is expected to significantly improve driving dynamics and overall performance.

Expected Price

The current Tata Punch is priced between ₹5.50 lakh and ₹9.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
The facelifted version is expected to be priced between ₹6 lakh and ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom).
