Tata Power Secured the Highest ESG Score among India's Power Utilities

Tata Power has secured the highest place in the Indian Power sector in the recent Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) results of S&P Global. Crediting the company's focus to be the most progressive and preferred green energy brand in India, Tata Power has performed well across all ESG parameters.

With its commitment to be Carbon Neutral, Tata Power is focused on ESG, which is integrated with the company’s business strategy. Tata Power is also the first power company to commit Carbon Neutrality before 2045 and the only power company to participate in the creation of the first SDG roadmap for power utilities with WBCSD and 10 other leading global power companies. 

Tata Power has also developed a roadmap to achieve Water Neutrality and Zero Waste to Landfill by 2030. It was assessed by ESG Risk Assessments and Insight Limited and has also been identified as a leaking company on ESG disclosure n the Indian power sector.

The company is ranked among the top 10 on Sustainability & CSR Responsible Business ranking in the ET-Future scape. It has the highest score in CRISIL’s ESG Scores in the Indian power sector.
