The Yodha 2.0, Intra V20 bi-fuel, and Intra V50 are three new commercial pickup trucks that Tata Motors has introduced to the Indian market. The pickup trucks have a new design and boast the greatest range, widest deck length, and highest load-carrying capability in the sector.

Tata Motors commemorated the launch of the three new pickups by delivering 750 of them to customers across the country. Launching the new range of pickups, Girish Wagh, Executive Director, Tata Motors, said, “Every aspect of these pickups has been meticulously engineered to efficiently service a wide variety of uses across urban, semi-urban, and rural areas. They come with a bold new design and offer the highest payload capacity to carry heavier cargo; the largest deck length to carry voluminous loads; the highest power-to-weight ratio, the longest range to traverse maximum distance; and modern safety and comfort features for stress-free driving. ”

The Yodha 2.0 comes with a high-rated payload of 2000 kg. It is powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine with 250 Nm of torque, while the pickup also has a high grade-ability of 30%. The Yodha is also available in 1200, 1500 and 1700kg rated payload options, comes with 4×4 and 4×2 configurations, and is available in single cab and crew cab options.

The Intra V50 has a 1500 kg payload capacity, along with the longest load deck measuring 2690 mm. It is equipped with a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 220 Nm torque. In contrast, the Intra V20 is India’s first bi-fuel pickup with a 1000 kg payload and a claimed range of 700 km. The V20 is powered by a 1.2-liter bi-fuel (CNG + petrol) engine with 106 Nm of torque. The intra-range also gets features like a walkthrough cabin and a dash-mounted gear lever.
