News Synopsis

BrightDrop Zevo 600 driver Stephen Marlin has achieved the Guinness World Records title for the longest distance traveled by an electric van on a single charge when riding the Zevo 600 from New York City to Washington, D.C., a nearly 260-mile journey. Merlin transported a shipment of sustainable cleaning products from Full Circle, a brand of sustainable home care products.

The vehicle arrived in Washington, D.C. where, it shipped our products to Mom's Organic Market, a retail chain that sells organic, raw food, sustainable seafood, natural health products, and cosmetics. His bid for the record was backed by BrightDrop, a commercial electric-delivery van company, and FedEx

After completing the initial production builds of the Zevo 600 in just 20 months, BrightDrop delivered the first small electric vehicle to FedEx in December, making it the fastest market vehicle in GM history.
