Startups Offer hi-tech Solutions to Livestock Sector

Startups are primarily run by young people and have developed many farms and necessary ecosystems to ensure that milk raised from cows arrives at the collection center sooner without contamination. The B2B and B2C sectors sell natural A2 milk under the brand name "DesiGo".

Startup Bhairaj Organics Private Limited monitors every step 24/7, so milk is tracked from the udder to the collection center and is confident in the quality and billed at a premium.

The same confidence helped Bhairaj Organics Private Limited participate in the "Start-Up Grand Challenge 2021" announced by the Department of Animal Husbandry. They not only participated in the contest but were declared as one of the 12 winners as well.

“We have cameras everywhere. Every step is carefully monitored. In this way, we not only ensure quality but also address issues that can disrupt our supply chain," Bhairaj's Mahaveer Singh told IANS in Delhi as he came to collect the award.

Many young entrepreneurs turn to the agricultural, dairy, and livestock sectors and turn them into successful businesses by adding value to their products or finding solutions that ease the burden on smallholders.
