News Synopsis

The pandemic has affected the whole world. As the vaccination started the things started getting back on track. The micro, small and medium businesses were recovering all the losses that they faced during the lockdown. But the new variant of coronavirus, Omicron has once again become a reason for the worries of these businesses.

R. Ramamurthy, a member of the All India Council of Association has claimed that the third wave can result in the death of small businesses.

The small businesses and MSMEs are facing a hard time gathering the right amount of labour force as most of them moved back to their villages during the lockdown and refuse to come back. Another reason is the increased prices of raw materials. R Ramamurthy also requested the government not to have another lockdown.
