Skoda Slavia Sedan launched in India

Carmaker Skoda has launched its new Skoda Slavia in India. This car is equipped with great features. It will be offered in three trims active, ambition and style. It will be powered by 1.0L 3-cylinder TSI and 1.5L 4-cylinder TSI petrol engines. The company has announced the prices of the 1.0L petrol variant, while the 1.5L petrol model will be introduced on March 3, 2022.
In comparison, the latest generation Honda City's naturally aspirated 121 hp, 145 Nm, 1.5-litre petrol engine delivers 17.8kpl with a 6-speed manual and 18.4kpl with the CVT automatic option.
The new Skoda sedan is expected to be priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom). The mid-size sedan Skoda Slavia will take on the likes of Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and the upcoming Volkswagen Vertus in the segment.
