Samsung has announced its new premium mobile processor ‘Exynos 2200’ that aims at redefining the mobile gaming experience. The all new Exynos 2200 is a mobile processor with a powerful AMD RDNA 2 architecture based Samsung Xclipse graphics processing unit (GPU).

The processor will enable the ultimate mobile phone gaming experience, along with enhancing the overall experience in social media applications and photography. It is also the first processor in the market to integrate Arm’s latest Armv9 CPU cores.

The octa-core of the processor is designed in a tri-cluster structure made up of a single powerful Arm Cortex-X2 flagship core, three performance and efficiency balanced Cortex-A710 big cores and four power efficient Cortex-A510 little cores.

The Exynos 2200 allows more powerful on-device artificial intelligence with its upgraded NPU, which allows more calculations in parallel and enhances the AI performance. The New Radio Connectivity allows it to utilise both 4G LTE and 5G NR signals, and the modem can boost the speed up to 10Gbps.
