Samsung and IBM reveal New Chipset with Week-Long Battery Life for Phones

Samsung and IBM together have unveiled a new chipset. The special thing about this new chipset is that it is believed to give a week-long battery life to smartphones. The chipset will be stacked vertically instead of lying flat.

The new design would allow it to pack the chipset more densely, which can result in improving the performance and efficiency of the new smartphones. Samsung has also claimed that this Chipset will help them in saving around 85% if compared to the previous Chipset. The launch time of the chipset is not confirmed yet, especially in consumer electronics. But the chipset can be used in other products.
