News Synopsis

Just two months after its global unveiling, Rolls-Royce has launched the highly anticipated Ghost Series II in India. This luxury sedan comes in three distinct variants: Ghost, Extended, and Black Badge, with prices starting at ₹8.95 crore, ₹10.19 crore, and ₹10.52 crore, respectively (all ex-showroom). Bookings are now open, and deliveries are expected to commence early next year.

Striking Design Updates

Refined Blocky Design

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II features a more sculpted and blocky design reminiscent of the Cullinan Series II. The front bumper's lower grille area has been refined to appear smaller, enhancing its sleek aesthetic. The daytime running lights (DRLs) now elegantly wrap around the outer corners of the main projector lamps, giving the front fascia a bold and modern appearance.

New Rear Styling

At the rear, the luxury sedan showcases a banded design for the tail lights, further emphasizing its sophisticated appeal. Buyers also have the option to select from two distinct 22-inch alloy wheel designs, allowing for additional customization.

Extended Variant Details

170mm Longer Wheelbase

The Ghost Extended variant sets itself apart with a wheelbase that is 170mm longer than the standard model, providing enhanced rear cabin space and comfort. The standard wheelbase measures 3,645mm, ensuring a spacious interior.

Premium Material Options

Rolls-Royce has introduced new material options, including Grey Stained Ash and Duality Twill, for the interiors of the Extended version. Notably, a full Duality Twill interior takes approximately 20 hours to craft. This intricate design incorporates around 2.2 million stitches, using 17.7km of thread, reflecting Rolls-Royce’s commitment to unparalleled craftsmanship.

Interior Innovations

Glass Panel Across the Dashboard

The cabin of the Ghost Series II boasts an elegant glass panel that spans the width of the dashboard, adding a futuristic touch. This update enhances the luxury experience for both drivers and passengers.

Upgraded Digital Instrument Cluster

The software powering the digital instrument cluster has been upgraded, allowing buyers to choose an exterior color-matching theme, ensuring a cohesive design aesthetic.

Enhanced Connectivity Features

The in-car connectivity system has been significantly improved. Rear-seat passengers can now connect two streaming devices to their individual screens. Additionally, the rear infotainment system supports wireless headphones, offering a more seamless and personalized entertainment experience.

Powertrain and Performance

6.75-Liter Twin-Turbo V12 Engine

Under the hood, the Ghost Series II is powered by a robust 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Performance Variants

The standard Ghost and Extended versions generate an impressive 563hp and 850Nm of torque. For those seeking more power, the Black Badge variant offers enhanced performance with 592hp and 900Nm of torque, delivering an exhilarating driving experience.

Conclusion

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II redefines luxury and performance with its updated design, innovative interior features, and powerful engine. Offering a range of customizable options, this luxury sedan ensures an unmatched experience for discerning buyers in India.
