News Synopsis

In its first fundraising round, Revise raised $3.5 million. Revise enables developers to make non-fungible tokens (NFT) more interactive. The aim of Revise is to make NFTs change their properties, and this could possibly change NFTs from static images to interactive ones. An example of this can be a football NFT changing its media content based on the performance of a team in the real world. Also, the startup is utilizing data structure to add a layer of governance for storage that could assist developers to settle disputes, if any arise. The Seed funding round of the startup was led by AlphaWave Global and 8i.

The funding round also witnessed the participation of  Sandeep Nailwal of Polygon, Scott Lewis of DEFI Pulse, Utsav Somani of AngelList, Bharat Founders Fund, and Rahul Chaudhary. The startup plans to utilize the raised capital to fund its hiring and expansion plans. Raise is founded by Anil Dukkitpatty and Raunaq Vaisoha, who previously created a blockchain startup Elemential Labs that work with large enterprises including National Stock Exchange (NSE), National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL), ICICI Bank, and others.
