Reliance Brands, Join Hands With Pret A Monjeer

India's giant Reliance Brands has partnered with the global food chain 'Pret Monjeer'. Reliance Brands Limited (RBL) has joined hands with Pret A Monjeer, which operates a fresh food and organic coffee chain. In this regard, a joint statement issued on Thursday said that both the companies will work together to launch and strengthen the business of 'Pret A Monzier' brand in the domestic market.

Pret A Monzier started its business in the year 1986. The company currently does business in 9 countries of the world including UK, America, Europe and Asia and has a total of 550 stores.

Giving information, Darshan Mehta, Managing Director, Reliance Brands said, “Our partnership with Prat is a testimony to the strong growth potential of the food and beverage industry in India. The company closely monitors the pulse of the Indian consumers. Consumer awareness about food has increased and fresh food is becoming the new trend.

Pret A Manger, which in French means "ready to eat," was established in London in 1983. The first shop there opened the following year.

College friends Sinclair Beecham and Julian Metcalfe purchased the brand after the original company filed for bankruptcy, opening their first location in 1986.
