Prices of Maruti Cars to Increase from January Next Year

Maruti Suzuki, the leading automaker in India has decided to increase the prices of its car models from January next year. The reason for the increase in the prices is the increasing input cost for the manufacturing of these vehicles. The company has already announced the price hike in the months of March, July, and September. 

The reason for the increase in the prices is said to be the increasing prices of fuel and steel. The shortage of semiconductors is also another reason for the increase. The third wave of the pandemic can also have its effects on the automobile industry. Prior to this many automakers have announced the cut in their production due to the shortage of semiconductors.
