News Synopsis

Abortion laws have been in the news for months now. First, it was Texas that banned abortion in the state and imposed strict laws in the state. This meant that women in Texas would have to go to another state to simply get an abortion. This caused countrywide protests asking the Texas government to take back the law. Now the Poles have risen against unfair abortion laws in the country after a pregnant woman died. Poland is one of the most  European countries and the conservative government banned abortion completely a few weeks back. This has caused a nationwide outrage where people broke all COVID-19 restrictions and gathered in large numbers to protest against the ban. The protest was fueled by the death of a pregnant woman who died because the doctors refused to abort her child.

The demand is to take back this archaic law and give women the freedom to their own bodies. The authorities have been trying hard to contain the protests but have failed to do so. The rage is louder this time.
