PM Modi reviews the situation of Wheat supply, Stocks, and Exports

Following the three-day visit to Germany, Denmark, and FranceIndian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a meeting to review the current situation of wheat supply, stock, and exports and directed the concerned officials to undertake the required actions in order to ensure quality norms and standards so that the nation can evolve into a strong source of food grain and other agricultural products.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, PM Narendra Modi chaired this meeting to analyze various aspects of wheatsupply, stock, and exports and he was given a detailed presentation on the issues pertaining to these.

Other than this, PMO further stated that the Indian Prime Minister was informed about the impact of high temperatures in the months of March-April 2022 on the production of crops. Additionally, the status of procurement and export of wheat were also reviewed.

Prime Minister of India directed later directed that all necessary initiatives should be taken to make sure that quality norms and standards are met amid the growing demand for agricultural products in India.
