Pine Labs acquires online payments startup Qfix

The merchant commerce platform, Pine Labs has acquired Mumbai-based online payment startup Qfix for an undisclosed amount. The company entered the online payment segment in October 2021 with the launch of Plural. 

The CEO of Pine Labs, Amrish Rau has said that its innovations through their smart invoicing and workflow management and billing tools would offer a complete merchant payment and commerce platform through Plural.

Founded in 2015, Qfix focuses on identifying and creating communities with common needs and enabling large scale commerce within those communities on a single platform. Its platform is used by over 5,000 education institutes, governments and clubs. 

The MD of Qfix Infocomm Pvt Ltd, Venugopal Choudhary has said that the acquisition will help us to serve the needs of multiple sectors requiring curated and innovative online payments solutions and commerce solutions that are secure, seamless and speedier on execution.
