OnePlus has officially launched the fifth edition of its OnePlus Photography Awards (OPA) 2025, inviting photography enthusiasts worldwide to participate. This year’s competition runs from February 7 to June 30, 2025, and follows the theme "Make the Moment."

A key highlight of OPA 2025 is its inclusivity, as the contest is now open to all smartphone users, regardless of brand. This move broadens the competition's scope, allowing more photographers to showcase their creativity.

Who Can Participate? Open to All Smartphone Users

Unlike previous editions, which were limited to OnePlus users, OPA 2025 features two participation groups:

• OnePlus Group – Exclusive to OnePlus smartphone users.

• Public Group – Open to photographers using any smartphone brand.

This change ensures that talented photographers across different devices can compete on an equal footing.

Competition Categories: Capture Life’s Most Stunning Moments

Participants can submit entries in three unique categories, each designed to challenge photographers' skills:

1. Movement – Focuses on capturing motion, whether it’s high-speed action or everyday life’s subtle movements.

2. Night and Low Light – Explores the beauty of night photography, from illuminated cityscapes to starry skies.

3. Faces – A category dedicated to storytelling through portraits, emphasizing human emotions and expressions.

Each category encourages participants to experiment with different techniques and styles to produce compelling images.

Expert Panel of Judges: A Fair and Comprehensive Selection Process

A distinguished panel of judges will evaluate the entries. The panel includes:

• Pete Lau – OnePlus Founder

• Hasselblad Ambassadors – Experts in professional photography

• Renowned Photographers – Recognized figures in the global photography industry

This ensures a rigorous and fair selection process, recognizing creativity, technical skill, and originality.

Exciting Prizes: Cash Rewards and Global Exposure

OnePlus has announced attractive prizes for the winners:

• Grand Prize Winner – $10,000 (approx. ₹8.76 lakh) in cash.

• Category Winners – Each will receive the flagship OnePlus 13 smartphone.
