News Synopsis

The resigning of senior executives at Ola Electric continues, and its Director of Human Resources, Ranjit Kondeshan, has decided to leave. Sources say Kondeshan will leave Bhavish Aggarwal's electric mobility company on July 2, just 14 months after joining. Kondeshan joined Ola Electric Mobility from Visa, where he worked for three years in Mumbai, according to his LinkedIn profile. He was Senior HR Manager at Bajaj Allianz Life before joining Visa.

Ola Electric, which, like other EV players, is under investigation by the government for battery fires, has seen some high-profile exits in recent months. Nidhi Chaturvedi Jha, the regional head of Ola Electric, left in May to join Amazon. Varun Dubey, the company's chief marketing officer, left in April for "personal reasons."

Previously, Dinesh Radhakrishnan, Ola Electric's chief technology officer (CTO), left the company. He was appointed CTO at Ola Electric in May of last year, according to his LinkedIn profile. Meanwhile, Arun Sirdeshmukh, the head of Ola Cars, the company's used car commerce division, announced his departure from the company.

The high-profile exits come at a time when Ola is reportedly planning an IPO this year at a lower valuation than previously planned, following the failure of several startups' IPOs.
