News Synopsis

Novak Djokovic has returned to detention in Australia after his visa was ripped by authorities for the second time claiming that an unvaccinated tennis player can be a threat to the public.

The Australian Border Force officer took the player to his lawyer’s office for an online hearing. Novak Djokovic used a medical exemption to enter Australia earlier this month to participate in the Australia Open. But seeing the public outcry, the government has revoked his visa on arrival.

Many Australians believe that Djokovic dodged the vaccine entry system and managed to enter the country when a judge reinstated his visa. Novak Djokovic was found covid positive in mid-December and did not go into isolation even after knowing about it.
