News Synopsis

Netflix may be testing live streaming with a focus on stand-up specials and other live content, as reported. It is an area that offers great opportunities for streaming services. With Netflix testing the live streaming option, Netflix can broadcast a live reunion and allow live voting for competitive shows, such as the upcoming Dance Competition Series Dance 100 from Circle producer Studio Lambert.

It also can permit the streaming provider to convey again its Netflix Is A Joke festival, a stay comedy occasion that featured around three hundred stand-up performances throughout LA consisting of Dave Chappelle, Larry David, and Pete Davidson.

The company plans to begin broadcasting some of the shows recorded at the event later this month. However, if the live option is added, home users will be able to see the shows as they unfold.

Live streams can be a popular option as they are already in use by Disney+. In February, Disney+ aired the Academy Awards live show and became the destination of the celebrity dance competition series "Dancing with the Stars," which is scheduled to debut as a live series on the platform later this year.
