MetaMap raises Rs 530 Crore in funding led by Tribe Capital

MetaMap, a USA based startup announced that it has raised Rs 530 crore in the Series B funding round led by Tribe Capital along with the participation from the existing investors and prominent angel investors.

The company is planning to use the amount for product development and to expand its business to international markets. MetaMap is building its tech hub in India with its offices across Gurugram and Bengaluru. It has also announced a partnership with some of the leading Indian fintech, marketplaces and crypto exchanges in 2022.

MetaMap allows entrepreneurs to access the profile of individuals. It also gives access to different personal merits that helps in recognition of the whole spectrum of the profile of an individual, including basic legal identity, biometric and psychometrics. The platform allows users to access digital services in return.
