Meta Cloud Hosting Now Available on WhatsApp

To further integrate Meta-WhatApp's business, CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced plans to open up a mobile messaging platform with a parent-hosted WhatsApp Cloud API to companies of all sizes around the world. 

This move allows any business or developer to easily access the service, build it directly on top of WhatsApp, customize the experience, and use the secure WhatsApp Cloud API to reduce customer response time.

During the company’s inaugural business messaging conference late on Thursday Mark Zuckerberg said, “This is an important step to help more businesses connect with people and help more people message the business that they want to support, big and small.”

According to the company, chatting companies are controlled by people, and companies can't send messages to people, not until they have requested to be contacted. He also said that for the company’s partners, this new service will eliminate costly server expenses and give them instant access to new features.

Meta Platforms CEO claimed that with these additional tools, the company wants to support small businesses and that the company expects some small and medium businesses to use the Cloud-based API even though many will continue to use the WhatsApp Business App. 

Meta is working on these features which will allow businesses to help and operate more than a few people to do their jobs and further strengthen their brand online including the ability to manage chats on up to 10 devices to better handle large numbers of chats.
