The world's famous British sports car company McLaren recently announced that it will officially enter India later this year. According to the latest news, McLaren has said that it will be making its official debut in India in the month of October with its first dealership in Mumbai. as its first official dealership in Mumbai, which will be operated under the name McLaren Mumbai. The dealership will offer sales, service, and after-sales for each McLaren model.

Talking about the McLaren models, the carmaker will officially sell the Artura Hybrid, McLaren GT, McLaren 720S Coupe and Spyder, and 765LT Coupe and Spyder. The carmaker's official entry into India is a sigh of relief for the handful of customers who currently own McLaren cars that were imported directly. McLaren's India operations will mark the carmaker's 41st Global Territory and also strengthen the carmaker's Asia Pacific presence. McLaren's India plans haven't been easy, as the carmaker tried to enter India in 2012 when the carmaker launched the MP4-12C convertible. And a few years later, McLaren announced this but these plans did not come to fruition. Whereas this time there is no obstacle.

Infinity Cars has been selected by McLaren as its retail partner in the nation, and the Mumbai location is scheduled to open in October. After failing to achieve lower import duties, Tesla Inc. postponed plans to sell its electric cars in India and gave up looking for showroom space, according to a May report from Reuters. Suzuki Motor Corp., which owns a majority of Maruti Suzuki, is the largest automaker in India and dominates the market for entry-level small cars.
