Massive Rally By Students and Officials Ahead 75th I-Day

News Synopsis

A massive rally was yesterday organised by waving a 300-meter-long national flag on the beach road in Visakhapatnam in India. A large number of officials, students, and citizens marched from Victory at Sea to Park Hotel Junction on the seventh day of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' programme. At Park Hotel Junction, a human chain was later established.

Speaking on the occasion, RDO stated that such programmes will continue till August 15 as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. He invited the public to join in the celebrations. Volunteers, students, authorities, and citizens actively participated in the programme by shouting Bharat Mata Ki Jai chants. The police band also performed on the occasion. The event was attended by Zilla Parishad CEO Vijay Kumar, information department deputy director Mani Ram, sports authority youth services Nageswara Rao, chief coach Surya Rao, Andhra Medical College Principal Butchiraju, and students.

Earlier, students from a Vadodara school also formed a human chain as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is a center's initiative to mark the country's 75th anniversary of independence, as well as the magnificent history of its culture and achievements. Bharat ki Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to commemorate 75 glorious years of progressive India and its rich history, diverse population, magnificent culture and great achievements.
