Mahindra XUV 7XO Bookings Open in India; Deliveries Begin for Higher Variants

Mahindra & Mahindra has officially opened bookings for its flagship internal combustion engine SUV, the XUV 7XO. The company has also started customer deliveries for select higher variants, while lower trims will be delivered at a later stage.
Mahindra XUV 7XO Bookings Now Open
Mahindra & Mahindra has commenced bookings for its flagship ICE SUV, the XUV 7XO, in India. Alongside this, the automaker has also begun customer deliveries of the higher variants of the new model.
The XUV 7XO is available in six variants — AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T, and AX7L — and can be configured in 6-seater and 7-seater layouts. It is offered with petrol and diesel engines, paired with manual and automatic transmissions.
Customers who pre-booked the SUV in December 2025 will start receiving deliveries from today.
Variant-Wise Delivery Timeline
Currently, deliveries are limited to customers who opted for the AX7, AX7T, and AX7L variants. Buyers of the AX, AX3, and AX5 trims will need to wait until April 2026 for deliveries to commence.
XUV 7XO Powertrain and Drivetrain Options

New DAVINCI Suspension System and Ride Quality
Mahindra has introduced a new DAVINCI suspension system in the XUV 7XO. Compared to the XUV700, ride quality has been significantly improved. The SUV handles sharp bumps and broken road surfaces more effectively and remains stable even on long, rough stretches.
Body roll is minimal, steering response is precise, and the steering feels especially well-weighted at higher speeds.
Interior, Infotainment and Connected Tech Features
One of the biggest highlights of the XUV 7XO is its coast-to-coast triple HD screen layout, consisting of three 12.3-inch displays, offered as standard across the range. The system runs on the latest ADRENOX+ platform, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P chipset.
