News Synopsis

India's oldest two-wheeler company, LML Electric has partnered with Harley Davidson's former plant in India. Under the agreement, LML Electricals will use the manufacturing facility of Harley Davidson for the manufacturing of electric vehicles.

LML Electric on Thursday announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Harley Davidson and will use its plant in Haryana's Bawal to manufacture electric scooters. The Kanpur-based company has announced its foray into the Indian two-wheeler space and is looking to play a bigger role in the rapid adoption of battery-powered scooters.

Earlier it was used to manufacture the company's products in India. However, later this American giant tied its bags with the Indian market. LML Electric aims to build a future-ready plant and make the most of Saira's technology and processes already in place.
