LIC stands out as the world’s third strongest insurance company: Report

With a valuation of $8.65 billion, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) is not only the biggest insurance corporation in the Nation but also emerges as the world’s third strongest insurance company too according to the latest report released by London-based consultancy Brand Finance. Life insurance Corporation is one of the oldest Insurance providing corporations in India and has also established itself as one of the prominent players amongst others. According to Brand Finance, the market cap of LIC will reach a valuation of $59.21 billion by 2022 and has projected its valuation to reach $78.63 billion by 2027. This news comes at a time when LIC is planning to debut on BSE and NSE and launch India’s largest share sale. Other than this the LIC’s ranking on the overall global brand ranking also jumped by 32 places securing 206th place.
