News Synopsis

Lamborghini, the epitome of luxury and performance, is gearing up to launch its latest creation, the Revuelto supercar, in India on December 6, 2023.

This highly anticipated vehicle, introduced internationally in July, stands out as the first series-produced Lamborghini equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, marking a significant leap in the brand's commitment to sustainability.

The Revuelto is not only a technological marvel but also heralded as the true successor to the iconic Aventador.

Performance Marvel of Lamborghini Revuelto

At the heart of the Revuelto lies the new 6.5-litre mid-mounted L545 engine, Lamborghini's lightest and most potent 12-cylinder engine, boasting a mere 218kg weight. Generating a remarkable 825PS and 725Nm of torque, this powerhouse can reach a redline of up to 9,500rpm.

Complementing the traditional engine are three e-motors strategically placed—one at the rear and one at each front tire—powered by a 3.8kWh battery pack located in the central tunnel. While compact by electric vehicle standards, this battery promises an electric-only range of up to 10 km.

The Revuelto's combined power output reaches an astounding 1,015PS, facilitated by an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, replacing the Aventador's single-clutch/AMT unit. The acceleration from 0 to 100kmph is a claimed 2.5 seconds, with a top speed reaching 350kmph.

Distinctive Design and Luxurious Interior:

The design of the Revuelto represents an evolution of the Aventador, featuring a distinctive wedge-shaped profile adorned with Y-shaped elements throughout. The supercar boasts new aggressive front and rear bumpers, 20 and 21-inch front and rear wheels, and the iconic scissor doors on both sides.

Aerodynamic efficiency takes center stage in the Revuelto's design, with a 33 percent increase in front aerodynamic load and a remarkable 74 percent increase in the rear load compared to the Aventador Ultimae.

Inside, the supercar offers a sophisticated infotainment system comprising a 12.3-inch digital cockpit, an 8.4-inch center display, and a 9.1-inch passenger-side display. Notably, the Revuelto introduces Lamborghini's first comprehensive driver-assist system powered by cameras, radar, and other sensors, incorporating features like active lane departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, lane change warnings, and rear cross-traffic alerts.

Market Dynamics and Pricing of Lamborghini Revuelto:

Positioned as a direct rival to its Italian counterpart, the Ferrari SF90, the Lamborghini Revuelto is expected to be a high-end luxury offering with an estimated price tag not likely to dip below Rs 6 crores.
