L&T Reports 10% Net Profit

The country's largest infrastructure company Larsen & Toubro Limited has declared the results for the March quarter of FY 2022. In this declared result, the company reported a 10% increase in its net profit increased year-on-year to Rs 3,621 crore.
During this period, the company's consolidated revenue also increased by 10% year-on-year to Rs 52,851 crore in the March quarter. Larsen & Toubro Limited said that during the March quarter it has secured orders worth Rs 73,941 crore, which is 46% higher than the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. In which 44% of the total orders are contributed by foreign orders.
L&T has bagged orders worth Rs 1.93 lakh crore at the group level during the entire FY2022, which is 10% higher than its previous financial year and the consolidated order book of the company is at a record level of Rs 3.57 lakh crore, including 27% International orders.
During this period, the company's operating profit declined by 2.1% to Rs 6,520.5 crore in the March quarter and the company's operating profit increased by 0.10% to 13.3%.
