In the United States, Kia has presented the latest generation Sportage SUV. The Korean automaker Kia has unveiled the next-generation Sportage SUV for the US market, which is one of the company's best-selling models worldwide.

The new Sportage will be available in two trim levels: X-Line and X-Pro, with the latter geared primarily at adventurers and equipped with off-road equipment such as all-terrain tires, among other things. It is 18 cm longer and has a 7 cm longer wheelbase than its predecessor in terms of design, with a dual-screen dash, the interior has also been remodeled. All models of the 2017 Sportage will come standard with all-wheel drive, which adds roughly an inch of ground clearance. The X-Line variant comes with 19-inch alloy wheels and regular tires, while the X-Pro model comes with 17-inch wheels and off-road tires. LED fog lights, a heated windshield, and various driving modes are all available on the X-Pro. The X-Pro Prestige adds ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable passenger seat, and LED projector headlights to the list of features.

There's also a shift in the transmission section. Instead of the former six-speed automatic transmission, the Kia Sportage will now come with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
