News Synopsis

KIA India has expanded the lineup of its first Made-in-India electric car, the Carens Clavis EV, this festive season. Responding to rising customer demand and feedback, the company introduced two new premium trims – HTX E and HTX E [ER].

The ex-showroom prices of these variants are ₹19.99 lakh and ₹21.99 lakh, positioning them as strong contenders in their segment.

Key Highlights of the New Variants

The new trims are positioned between the HTK+ and HTX trims.

  • HTX E: Comes with a 42 kWh battery pack.

  • HTX E [ER] (Extended Range): Equipped with a larger 51.4 kWh battery pack.

Both variants include premium features in addition to what the HTK+ trim offers. Key interior updates include a panoramic sunroof, LED lighting across all three rows, auto up/down windows, ECM room mirror, wireless charger, and a two-tone tilt-and-telescopic adjustable steering wheel.

The cabin also features a large 26.62-inch (67.62 cm) dual panoramic display, giving the dashboard a modern, high-tech look. Over 90 connected car features are included, enhancing the overall driving experience.
