JSW MG Motor India has rolled out a nationwide initiative called ‘EV Sahi Hai’ to enhance public understanding of electric vehicles (EVs) and boost adoption rates across the country. The campaign is designed to address common misconceptions, highlight cost and environmental benefits, and showcase improvements in EV charging infrastructure that alleviate range anxiety.

Two-Phase Awareness Strategy

Phase 1: Customer-Led Stories

The first phase, titled ‘Customer-led: Real People, Real Experiences’, spotlights genuine testimonials from EV owners. A series of 10 short films features these owners narrating their personal experiences with electric mobility, emphasizing reduced running costs, low emissions, and improved driving comfort. Each film concludes with the tagline ‘EV Sahi Hai’ and is being promoted across digital platforms and television networks.

Phase 2: Celebrity-Driven Campaign

The second phase, set to launch by the end of August 2025, will feature popular Bollywood actors Varun Sharma and Pulkit Samrat, widely recognized for their roles in the Fukrey film series. Through creative storytelling, the celebrity-led campaign will reach a broader audience, communicating the lifestyle and financial advantages of switching to electric vehicles. The campaign’s concept takes inspiration from AMFI’s successful ‘Mutual Fund Sahi Hai’ initiative, which effectively changed public perception about mutual fund investments.

Dedicated Website Launch

As part of the initiative, JSW MG Motor India will launch www.evsahihai.com on August 9, 2025. This website will serve as an educational hub providing information about EV technology, charging solutions, ownership advantages, and answers to frequently asked questions — with a focus on guiding first-time EV buyers.
