JSW MG Motor India has unveiled the Windsor Exclusive PRO variant, adding to its rapidly growing portfolio of electric vehicles in India. Priced at ₹17,24,800 (ex-showroom), the new variant focuses on delivering extended range and premium features at a more accessible price point.

A Larger Battery with Extended Driving Range

The Windsor Exclusive PRO features a robust 52.9 kWh battery pack, which delivers a certified range of 449 kilometers under the MIDC (P1+P2) testing cycle. This makes it one of the more capable EVs in its price bracket for range-conscious buyers.

Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) Pricing for Greater Affordability

In addition to outright purchase, JSW MG Motor India is offering the Windsor Exclusive PRO under a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) pricing model. Under this plan, the vehicle is available at a reduced upfront cost of ₹12.24 lakh, with users paying ₹4.5 per kilometer for battery usage. This flexible pricing aims to make EV ownership more affordable and accessible for a wider audience.

Bookings and Delivery Timeline

Customers can book the MG Windsor Exclusive PRO at any authorized MG dealership with a token amount of ₹11,000. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first week of June, providing quick fulfillment for early adopters.

Positioned Between Essence and Essence PRO Variants

The Exclusive PRO variant sits between the existing Essence and Essence PRO models in the MG Windsor lineup. It is designed to bring the benefits of the larger battery option—previously available only on the top-spec PRO variant—into a more accessible pricing tier.

Rakesh Sen, Head of Sales at JSW MG Motor India, commented on the launch, stating:

“The overwhelming response to the MG Windsor PRO is evident, with more than 8,000 bookings recorded within 24 hours of its launch. With the top variant now established, we are expanding accessibility of the MG Windsor by introducing the Exclusive PRO variant.”

Sen emphasized that the new variant aims to deliver both range and comfort, ensuring the MG Windsor remains attractive to a broad segment of EV buyers.

The Windsor Exclusive PRO variant features a dual-tone Ivory and Black interior, following the brand’s AeroGlide design language. Key comfort highlights include reclinable Aero Lounge seats, designed for a luxurious driving experience.

Tech features include a 15.6-inch Grandview Touch Display, nine-speaker sound system, and the i-SMART connected car platform, which supports over 80 features and 100 AI-based voice commands for a futuristic, hands-free experience.

The Exclusive PRO is offered in three elegant color choices:

The company is offering a lifetime battery warranty to the first owner of the vehicle, demonstrating its confidence in battery durability and performance. Additionally, a 3-60 assured buyback plan guarantees 60% of the vehicle's value after three years, providing peace of mind and higher resale confidence for customers.

MG Windsor’s Place in India’s EV Portfolio

The MG Windsor Exclusive PRO joins JSW MG’s existing EV range, which includes the MG ZS EV and the compact MG Comet EV. With this new addition, the Windsor lineup now comprises five variants with two battery pack options—38 kWh and 52.9 kWh—priced between ₹13.99 lakh and ₹18.09 lakh.
