JioPhone Next is Crucial to Google India Business: Sundar Pichai

A 4G smartphone jointly developed by Reliance Jio and Google, JioPhone Next is going to launch this Diwali in India. Sundar Pichai has claimed to have invested beyond English and made more local languages available to users across India. Pichai also shared his thoughts on the impact of the smartphone in the upcoming three to five years. The software used in the phone is Pragati OS which is based on the Android OS.

Google nearly doubled the profit in its third quarter, as businesses started investing in digital ads targeting the customers who have shifted to online platforms. Alphabet has also posted a profit of $21.03 billion, which is nearly three times more than what it reported before the pandemic.
