Jio-bp Collaborates with TVS Motor Company

One of the leading two and three-wheeler manufacturers in India, TVS Motors has joined hands with the aviation fuel supplier, Jio-BP to build a state-of-the-art electric vehicle charging infrastructure for both electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers in India. Under the inked deal, the customers of TVS electric vehicles are likely to get access to the widespread charging network of Jio-bp However, it will not be limited only to TVS customers and will also open to other vehicles as well. By joining hands, both companies plan on building a regular AC charging network and a DC fast-charging network. EV charging and swapping stations are being operated under the brand name Jio-bp pulse by Jio-bp. In its joint statement, they said: "With the Jio-bp pulse app, customers can easily find stations nearby and charge their electric vehicles.” Currently, TVS Motors is extensively working on developing new electric mobility products and technologies related to it. It has already sold around 12,000 units of its high-speed electric scooter TVS iQube. The joint statement said: "The company has committed Rs 1,000 crore towards EV business, a good portion of which has already been invested.”
