News Synopsis

The Jeep Meridian's price has been revealed. The three-row SUV is priced between Rs 29.90 lakh and Rs 36.95 lakh (ex-showroom). These are, however, promotional pricing that will be raised in the coming weeks.

The Meridian is based on the same platform as the Compass, but it is larger, taller, and broader, with a longer wheelbase. Aside from enhanced boot space, the Meridian can accommodate seven more passengers than the Compass thanks to the extra row. It has signature Jeep style elements, yet it stands out from the Compass in terms of appearance. While the Meridian's dashboard is essentially identical to the Compass's, it has distinct upholstery and interior decorations.

The Meridian is only available in the Limited and Limited (O) trim levels from Jeep. The panoramic sunroof, motorised tailgate, dual-tone exterior choices, and the 10.2-inch instrument cluster are all absent from the former, replacing them with a 7-inch digital display. In all trims, the Meridian 4x2 is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission, whereas the Meridian 4x4 is only available with an automatic transmission in Limited (O) trim.
